We’re on the lookout for women across the UK who are leading the way in social enterprise, impact investment and mission-driven business.

Nominations have opened for this year’s NatWest WISE100 (Women in Social Enterprise 100), recognising 100 of the most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise.

Now in its second year the WISE100 List, which launched on International Women’s Day last year, is delivered by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest and the NatWest SE100 index – the index of the UK's top 100 social enterprises.

This year, in addition to welcoming general nominations, we are particularly interested in women in the following categories:

  • Women running £1m+ turnover social businesses
  • Women running early stage social enterprises (organisations under three years old)
  • Women from black and minority ethnic communities
  • Women working with refugees
  • Women working in finance

Megan Peat, CEO of NatWest Social & Community Capital, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the WISE100 for the second year. NatWest has supported the social enterprise sector for over 20 years and through our Women in Business programme provides dedicated support to female entrepreneurs. Recognising the huge commitment and achievements of the many female social entrepreneurs is an opportunity too good to miss”.

WISE100 nominations are open from 17 August until 2 October. A panel will narrow down those put forward to produce a final WISE100 List.

These 100 women will then be invited to a special celebration event on 29 October at Coutts on The Strand, in London, as well as being featured on Pioneers Post.
