‘We wiped out the last 20 years of development’ – Harish Hande, SELCO Foundation

Among the social entrepreneurs fighting the deadly spread of the virus is engineer Harish Hande, founder and CEO of SELCO Foundation, which helps tackle poverty through sustainable energy solutions. From a ‘war room’ in Bangalore, Hande describes building a hospital in 20 days and using times of crisis to innovate – and explains why SELCO’s emergency crowdfunding campaign is ‘not about the money’.
