Alessia Gianoncelli is Head of the Knowledge Centre at EVPA, where she is responsible for research activities, content development and data collection. She also leads the EVPA initiative “Foundations Along the Spectrum of Capital” in collaboration with the European Foundation Centre (EFC), and is EVPA’s liaison with the International Venture Philanthropy Center (IVPC) to strengthen the social impact ecosystem in Latin America and Africa. Alessia has worked at EVPA since 2014, where she developed an in-depth knowledge on impact investing and the venture philanthropy ecosystem and practices, including impact measurement and management and EU policies linked to social finance.
Alessia was a blue book trainee at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, specifically working on social enterprises and SMEs market assessment and on funding opportunities to support social investment. Alessia has over ten years of volunteering experience in the NGO sector and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Turin and a Master in International Administration from the UPEC in France.
