Amma Lartey is the CEO of Impact Investing Ghana, a member of the GSG Impact, focusing on redirecting capital towards social and environmental impact in Ghana. With extensive leadership experience across Africa, she has supported social enterprises through initiatives like Reach for Change and serves as an accredited trainer for the SDG Impact Standards. Over the past sixteen years, Amma has coached leaders and teams, helping over 3,000 entrepreneurs to launch and grow their ventures.
Hamdiya Ismaila is the founder and CEO of Savannah Impact Advisory, dedicated to enhancing impact investing and venture capital in Ghana and Africa. With over 24 years of finance experience, she shifted from mainstream finance to venture capital and private equity. As general manager of the Venture Capital Trust Fund, she supported emerging fund managers, managed investments, and fostered collaboration between entrepreneurs and investors. She also became an angel investor, instrumental in establishing the Ghana Angel Investor Network to connect early-stage entrepreneurs with funding.
Dr. Benedict Yiyugsah is senior knowledge and policy officer at Impact Investing Ghana, driving evidence-based strategies to unlock impact capital across Africa. He leads Ghana’s Ecosystem Mapping and Market Sizing research and the IDRC-funded Mapping and Assessment of the Social Impact Investment Ecosystem in Africa research, projects both aimed at shaping the conditions that allow impact capital to be deployed seamlessly across Ghana and Africa.
