Beth Abbott is the UK General Manager of Ai-Media. After gaining a degree in English Literature from St Anne’s College, Oxford, Beth extended her interest in communication to found Bee Communications in June 2010.
Bee Communications pioneered the use of captioning for deaf people in the workplace and in education. After three years of leading the market, it was acquired by Ai-Media in October 2013. Beth then became their UK General Manager. Ai-Media is now pioneering the use of captioning as a tool for teacher’s professional development and as a learning tool for pupils with autism spectrum disorders.
