Daniel joined Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2009 to help design and launch the innovative TrustLaw service. With over 450 top law firms working free of charge to help 1,800+ social enterprise and charity members in 170 countries, the service is now the biggest provider of free legal services in the world.
Daniel manages the programme in the UK and Ireland is also responsible for developing strategic partnerships with the leaders in social innovation. Daniel is Norwegian-Iranian and studied in Spain through his dual BA in International Affairs & Spanish. He also lived briefly in Shanghai, Kobe, and Boston during his MBA programme. He speaks Norwegian, Spanish, some Farsi and has experience in the US and UK in working directly with social enterprises to scale their ventures. In his previous career he worked in the interpretation/translation industry in the US and Ireland. In his free time he writes music for film.
