Felix Oldenburg serves as Secretary General of the Association of German Foundations (Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen), representing and supporting over 20,000 foundations. After studying philosophy in Germany, the UK, and the US, Felix worked as an Internet entrepreneur, management consultant, and initiator of citizen participation programmes across Europe.
From 2009 to 2016, he led Ashoka in Germany and Europe, started the Financing Agency for Social Entrepreneurship, and pioneered several programmes and collaborations to advance social entrepreneurship and social finance. Felix has received several awards for his work, and frequently writes and speaks about social innovation, entrepreneurship and finance.
