Philipp Golka likes to study organisations and their role in shaping our contemporary world.
He has been interested in impact investing ever since first hearing about it at a UC Berkeley conference in early 2011. For his book, Financialization as Welfare, he researched the development of impact investing in the UK since 1997 by studying over 10,000 pages of documents.
He currently works as a consultant for the German government and holds a PhD in sociology.
