Pants to Poverty pop up shop opens for Christmas

Social enterprise Pants to Poverty is selling its organic fairtrade underwear through its first ever retail space this Christmas, at the Pants Pop Up Shop in London.

Pants to Poverty works with 12,000 Indian cotton farmers, supporting fairtrade, organic crop ownership. Garments are made at a carbon neutral factory in India which ensures that its 600 employees earn a living wage.

Pants products are sold through its website, Figleaves stores, various other retailers and stalls at festivals.

Pants to Poverty is a Deloitte Social Innvoation Pioneer, one of 30 businesses receiving support from Deloitte to grow and become more sustainable. The pop up shop was proposed and sponsored by Deloitte with the aim of capitalising on Christmas sales opportunities and push brand awareness.

The Pants Pop Up Shop is open until 5 January at 261 Pavilion Road, off Sloane Square, London SW1 0BP.
