Siphiwe Ngwenya is founder and director of Maboneng Township Arts Experience, which has supported over 100 community-based gallery spaces across South Africa over the past decade. The initiative has been recognised at the International Public Arts Awards in China and the Global Fine Arts Awards in Miami. Siphiwe writes and speaks regularly on community-led development, cultural tourism, and the creative economy, and is a passionate advocate for shifting power and ownership to local communities.
