Tim is the founder and editor of Pioneers Post, and co-founder of the specialist marketing and communications company Matter&Co, the company behind the Good Deals social investment conference and the RBS SE100 Index.
Through these platforms, he works with corporates, social entrepreneurs, private businesses, civil society organisations and government bodies to promote the fusion of brilliant business and social values, helping to build great brands, compelling stories and sustainable business around social impact and social responsibility.
He studied on the business growth programme (BGP) at Cranfield School of Management, studied business at Warwick Business School and was an undergraduate at Oxford University, where he gained a degree in music – followed by a short stint as a professional opera singer. Tim trained as a newspaper journalist, and held a series of senior editorial posts, before specialsing in public and social policy, business and social responsibility. He founded Social Enterprise magazine (predecessor to Pioneers Post) more than a decade ago, closely followed by Matter&Co.
