Turning dialogue into concrete action in the heart of the Amazon – Impact Minds 2026 preview
In a ‘milestone for the impact ecosystem’, Latimpacto’s fifth Impact Minds event arrives in Manaus, Brazil in September. Don’t miss the early bird deadline on 30 June.
Latimpacto’s fifth Impact Minds conference will take place in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, aiming to bring together impact capital leaders from across Latin America and further afield as well as strengthening connections with historically overlooked territories.
Around 800 leaders are expected in Manaus from 8 to 11 September. The choice of the city is “both symbolic and strategic”, according to Latimpacto, a global network for impact capital providers working in Latin America and the Caribbean. Located on the banks of the Amazon river, Latimpacto points out that Manaus represents one of the most important territories on the planet for the climate debate and for building solutions that integrate economic development, environmental preservation and social inclusion.
Manaus invites us to look directly at the challenges while also recognising the region’s enormous transformative potential
“Bringing this conversation to the Amazon invites us to rethink development, connect with the region’s most urgent challenges, and build the alliances needed to drive lasting change,” said Latimpacto’s CEO, Carolina Suárez Visbal (pictured below).

Pedro Telles, Latimpacto’s Brazil country manager, said: “The arrival of Impact Minds in the Amazon is a milestone for the impact ecosystem in Brazil and across Latin America. Manaus invites us to look directly at the challenges while also recognising the region’s enormous transformative potential. We want to connect capital, knowledge and action in a responsible and collaborative way, placing the Amazon at the centre of strategic decisions about the future of impact.”

Confirmed keynote speakers include Marla Blow, CEO of the Skoll Foundation, and Fabio Segura, co-CEO of the Jacobs Foundation.
Connecting capital, knowledge and action
The theme of Impact Minds 2026 is ‘Connecting Us’, and the agenda will emphasise themes including the bioeconomy, biodiversity, climate, territorial development, education and health.
“The future of impact does not depend on who has the best answer, but on our ability to connect, learn from one another, and act together,” said Suárez Visbal. “That is why we invite the region’s major investors, philanthropists, and leaders to take part in a different kind of conversation, one focused on how to better connect capital, knowledge and action to generate lasting, large-scale transformations.”

The event’s programme, said Latimpacto, was designed to “turn dialogue into concrete action”. Over four days, there will be panels featuring global leaders, collective sharing sessions and hands-on workshops. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit social and environmental impact initiatives in the Amazon region, as well as taking part in networking activities and cultural experiences.
The first ‘Impact Minds’ event was held in Cartagena, Colombia in 2022, followed by Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in 2023, then Oaxaca, Mexico in 2024, and Medellín, Colombia in 2025.
Pioneers Post is media partner to Impact Minds 2026, and editors Anna Patton and Julie Pybus will be hosting a workshop focusing on storytelling for impact investors during the event. Early bird booking ends on 30 June 2026.
