Business-minded NGO ignites entrepreneurial spirit

M’Hammed Abbad Andaloussi intertwines the worlds of young Moroccans and executives from the private sector with the aim of catalysing entreprenurial spirit.

After working as a banker for 34 years M'Hammad wanted to pursue his true passion – "education, education, education". He founded the NGO INJAZ to help solve the growing unemployment crisis in Morocco by teaching young people the skills required to become a successful entrepreneur.

He wanted to create an organisation that formed the bridge between school and business. M'Hammad talks to Tim West about some of the biggest challenges he has faced as CEO of INJAZ including enouraging people to invest time in young people, as opposed to simply throwing money at the issue – although of course this also helps.
