The sixth SEUK State of Social Enterprise Survey shows that social enterprises are working with or seeking to employ disadvantaged individuals. 

A report published by the government last week estimates that there are 471,000 social enterprises in the UK, making up 9% of the small business population. 

Research backed by the Scottish government demonstrates clear growth in the sector within the last two years.
